Out of Hours

Care on Call

When the Health Centre is closed, Care on Call Pembrokeshire provides cover for emergency use only, not for anything that can wait until the surgery is open (See opening hours).

Care on Call Pembrokeshire operates from 6.30pm to 8am weekdays and from 6.30pm Friday to 8am Monday, including Bank Holidays.

To contact a doctor out of hours you can either telephone the out of hours direct or the normal surgery number (telephone numbers below)

  • Care on call - 111
  • Fishguard Health Centre - 01348 430207

When you ring either number a telephone operator will take your details which will be passed to the triage nurse who will either speak to you immediately, ring you back or pass you directly to the duty doctor. You may be asked to attend the Treatment Centre in Haverfordwest. Home visits will only be carried out for the very ill and housebound patients.
